This is Slipknots debut album. They are a heavy metal band which consists of the nine people in this album cover. Slipknot are known world wide for their heavy metal music and attention grabbing image. This is very much portrayed in this album cover. All members are in the same red jumpsuits which represents danger. If you look closely you can see bars in the background which shows they are in prison this links to their aggressive, chaotic and intimidating look. All of the members of the heavy metal band are also wearing different unique masks which suggests they want to be hidden and keep their personal lives private. The masks makes them stand out by grabbing people attention to the fact they look scary and threatening this could be seen as a gimmick just to get more viewers and potentially sell more albums. The members centred in this picture are looking down into the camera which is quite intimidating towards the audience.
